Kevin Gray as The Phantom of the Opera with Hugh Panaro as Raoul de Chagny

Broadway actor Kevin Gray passed away suddenly on February 11, 2013.  Kevin was, as many fans will remember, was The Phantom when Hugh Panaro made his debut as Raoul de Chagny at the Majestic.  A memorial CD in Kevin's honor has just been released and features many Broadway performers who shared the stage with Kevin over the course of his wonderful career.  The album will have over thirty tracks, including a recording of "All I Ask of You" by Hugh and Rebecca Luker.

"On a lighter note when Hugh Panaro came in to sing "All I ask of You", he came into the control room to listen to the track with Butch and I, and immediately started singing right there and I said "no, no not here you gotta go into the booth", and he said "I cant help it, it's in my bones!" and he jumped down on his knee and performed the rest of the song for me and Butch! We all just laughed. He was a delight. I think he got it on the second take."
