Last night, Hugh joined his longtime friend and SIDE SHOW costar for Norm Lewis: Who Am I? (a part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series). 

The show was taped and will be aired as part of Live From Lincoln Center on April 10.

Norm Lewis and his "surprise guest" sing "I Will Never Leave You" from SIDE SHOW during Norm's American Songbook concert.  As noted in the previous update, the concert will air on Live From Lincoln Center on April 10; please check your local PBS listings for broadcast times.

In April 2016, Hugh and Christiane Noll will join the Florida Orchestra for And The Tony Goes To...a concert featuring songs from award-winning musicals such as LES MISERABLES, RAGTIME, CHICAGO, and THE MUSIC MAN.  Tickets will go on sale this coming August.  Dates, locations, and details available at

On April 4, Hugh is scheduled to join Jackie Burns, Felicia Finley, Tari Kelly, and Jared Mason at the Edmond Keefe Center For The Arts for BROADWAY IN NASHUA, a benefit for the Nashua (New Hampshire) School District's music programs.  Information and tickets are available through the Nashua School District site.

Hugh is scheduled to be one of many performers coming together for Michael Childers' One Night Only: Back to the Sixties," a show benefiting Jewish Family Service of the Desert.  The show, which will also feature Rufus Wainwright, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Shoshana Bean, Lucie Arnaz, Jim J Bullock, Mary Bridget Davies, and Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway, will take place at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert on April 22.

If you tuned in last night to PBS for Norm Lewis' WHO AM I? on LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER and hoped to see Hugh and Norm's performance of "I Will Never Leave You" from SIDE SHOW, don't worry;  it was cut from the broadcast, but it's expected to be included in the bonus material when the show is available to stream on the PBS website.

Hugh is scheduled to join Lena Hall, Cady Huffman, Judy Kaye, Pamela Myers, and Kevin Meaney at Birdland Jazz Club for Jaime deRaoy & friends, a variety show celebrating Broadway and the Tony Awards, on May 17.

Also, on May 18, he is scheduled to perform in the 2015 Symphony Space Gala Honoring Harold Prince.  Others scheduled to perform in the Gala are Jay Armstrong Johnson, Kate Baldwin, Sierra Boggess, Santino Fontana, Ramin Karimloo, Norm Lewis, Rebecca Luker, Laura Osnes, Chita Rivera, Graham Rowat, Elizabeth Stanley, and Vanessa Williams.

In August, Hugh will again perform at the Krumlov International Music Festival near Prague in The Music of James Bond with Capatha Jenkins and Debbie Gravitte.  He previously performed at the Festival in 2010.

Hugh will be joining Kathy Brier, Larry Marshall, and John Herrara for BROADWAY SHINES ON HARBOR LIGHTS, a one-night only performance on June 5 at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center's Music Hall.

The long-awaited Kevin Gray Memorial CD is now available!  It features tracks by many of Kevin's costars from a number of shows, including THE PHANTON OF THE OPERA, MISS SAIGON, AND SHOWBOAT.  It is available directly through the Kevin Gray Memorial Foundation or through Amazon and iTunes.  Hugh is featured on "All I Ask of You" with Rebecca Luker.

"On a lighter note when Hugh Panaro came in to sing "All I ask of You", he came into the control room to listen to the track with Butch and I, and immediately started singing right there and I said "no, no not here you gotta go into the booth", and he said "I cant help it, it's in my bones!" and he jumped down on his knee and performed the rest of the song for me and Butch! We all just laughed. He was a delight. I think he got it on the second take."

Throwback Thursday - in 1999, SOUTH PACIFIC celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Broadway opening at the Majestic Theatre.  Members of the original cast joined the cast of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on stage at the curtain call.

Hugh will be replacing Norm Lewis for the first few engagements of Peter Joback and Helen Sjöholm's I LOVE MUSICALS tour in September and October.  He will be appearing with the tour in Oslo, Malmö and Helsinki.  The Malmö stop of the tour (September 26) is already sold out, but limited tickets are available for Oslo and Helsinki.  Tickets, dates, and additional information are available at the link below.
